Network Upgrades

Details:
 
Currently we have found no issues after upgrading our secondary transit router in Blue Square.
We are now entering an extended monitoring phase, and in compliance with our own internal process of No internal infrastructure changes after 15:00 on a Thursday until 08:00 the following Monday.
We shall stay in this monitoring phase unless we have to invoke our roll back strategy.
We shall also be downgrading the status from critical to serious.

We will keep you updated.

Details:
 
We have completed the upgrade process on our secondary transit router in Blue Squareand are now entering a 2 hr testing and monitoring phase.  We are continuing to advise that we have degraded network redundancy to our Blue Square network.  We shall keep you updated as to our progress.

We will be performing an emergency software upgrade on our secondary transit router in BlueSquare.
During this period we will have degraded network redundancy to our BlueSquare network.
This upgrade is due to the recent outages we have experienced in this part of our network.
This is after intesive testing of a new version of the OS within our lab environment and
we have a fully tested release process to minimise the risk.

Flexiscale Network

Details:
This issue is now resolved and full network connectivity has been restored. We appologise for the inconvenience.
 
Update: 16/06/09 15:20
Details:
There is currently an issue affecting the Flexiscale network which means you will not be able to contact any Flexiscale servers. We expect to have this resolved within the next 10 minutes.
 
Update on Network Status

All,

We have been working closely with the router providers and are currently engaged in updating the router Operating System to overcome the issues we are currently experiencing as, after implementing all known fixes and patches the issue has not been resolved.

Once testing and stability verification is completed, we shall be planning a release to our production environment ensuring minimal disruption.
However we will not make any changes to our production environment before giving notification here on our status page.

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused and are working flat out to minimise disruptions whilst we work on a resolution.

Network Issue

Details:  We are currently experiencing a network issue effecting servers hosted in the Bluesquare datacentre.  We expect this to be resolved shortly.  Apologies for the inconvenience.

 
Shared Windows Web Server Reboots

When: 16/06/2009

Details:

On Tuesday 16th June @ ~21:00 we will be rebooting the following shared Windows servers:

Jerry

Hathor

Xavier

This is to install important security updates. We estimate the downtime of each server to be no more than 10minutes. We appologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
