Update: 2009-06-18 16:35 BST Severity: Serious Details: Currently we have found no issues after upgrading our secondary transit router in Blue Square. We are now entering an extended monitoring phase, and in compliance with our own internal process of No internal infrastructure changes after 15:00 on a Thursday until 08:00 the following Monday. We shall stay in this monitoring phase unless we have to invoke our roll back strategy. We shall also be downgrading the status from critical to serious. We will keep you updated. Update: 2009-06-18 11:25 BST Details: We have completed the upgrade process on our secondary transit router in Blue Squareand are now entering a 2 hr testing and monitoring phase. We are continuing to advise that we have degraded network redundancy to our Blue Square network. We shall keep you updated as to our progress.
When: 2009-06-18 09:00 BST Affected:Bluesquare Customers Severity: Critical Expected Duration:4 hours Details: We will be performing an emergency software upgrade on our secondary transit router in BlueSquare. During this period we will have degraded network redundancy to our BlueSquare network. This upgrade is due to the recent outages we have experienced in this part of our network. This is after intesive testing of a new version of the OS within our lab environment and we have a fully tested release process to minimise the risk.
