The majority of servers should now be restored. At this stage we have not restored servers that were in a 'Stopped' state prior to the initial issue, but if your server was in this state and should have been restored please let us know.

We have now the ability to start windows virtual servers. From now we will start to restore all servers. Please be aware that this task will run well into the weekend.
We would like to thank all customers for their patience, and understanding.
We have successfully restored 20 Linux machines. All customers will be notified when their servers are up and running.

We are currently in the final phase of testing. As soon as we have completed we will be bringing the storage and system online. When we have completed we will start to notify customers of the startup process.

The new storage space has arrived and been configured. We are currently working on the process to get the first few customers up and running.

Customers on the FTP server will now be able to access the customer storage server by using the IP 217.8.248.247 and via normal ftp clients. If you need any help please contact support@xcalibre.co.uk

I will be sending out an e-mail to all affected customers later this afternoon with a detailed breakdown of what has happened, and what we are doing to resolve it.
This original issue has unfortunately been compounded by other issues, but we are now making progress.
As per the message below, if customers do need access to any specific files, this is something we can now achieve, although we will not be able to start any servers until tomorrow.
I sincerely apologise for the problems that this has caused and we as a company do understand the impact that this caused to our customers.
We will be applying credits as per our SLA, and details of that will follow tomorrow.

We have restored read only access to our virtual platform. If customers require data then please contact flexiscale@xcalibre.co.uk, and we will do on an individual basis. At no point today will individual Virtual server's be available.

We have successfully restored our Yansan shared server. Customers are advised that dns changes have been made and that all external hosted dns will have to have it repointed to 217.8.248.246.
Currently we are advanced stages in restoring our FTP server. We will update this page with full details on what customers need to do to access these devices.
We are still working on resolving the problem and we believe we can recover customer data.

Following the consistency check and in conjunction with our storage vendor we have determined that to avoid data loss it will be necessary to delay the restoration of servers until business hours on Wednesday at the earliest.
A further update will be posted on Wednesday 27th, we again apologise for this further delay.

Unfortunately the consistency check is taking longer than expected. An update will follow shortly on the progress of this. As soon as this is complete of staff will continue to work throughout tonight to bring up individual servers.

We have sucessfully restored the file structure and doing one last consistency check. When this is complete we will start to bring up the environment and, then customers servers.

Currently no customers can start the servers up using the job system, the work we are doing takes the job system out of production.
We are currently finalising the restore, doing consistency checks and final tests.
In approximately 45 mins we will be restoring our virtual platform from approximately 9am this morning, which is shortly before the failure occurred.
All servers that were running at the time before the outage will be restarted by our admin team. We ask that all customers check their servers and please report any issue's to XCalibre immediately by emailing flexiscale@xcalibre.co.uk
During this time the job system will be unavailable till all the servers are restored.
Any further updates will follow shortly.

Between 3pm and 6pm you may have noticed data speed issues with your Flexiscale server(s).
This is now resolved and the root cause has been identified. We are also actively taking steps to minimise the impact on your services relating to this type of issue.
