Mail.app (a.k.a. Mail)

Open up the Mail.app and select the ‘Preferences’ from the ‘Mail’ menu.

Click on the ‘Accounts’ icon, click on the ‘Create Account’ button (+ sign as shown).

Select POP for the ‘Account type’ from the popup menu.

Enter the following information in the next sections:

Account Description: This is just a reference for yourself.

Full Name: Your name.

Email address: This is the email address that you want to use.

Click ‘Continue’.

Incoming Mail Server: pop3.yourdomain.name (change to the domain you wish to use).

User Name: This will be your pop3 username.

Password: This will be your pop3 password.

Click ‘Continue’.

N.B. If you are unsure of your username or password, they can be found within the ‘Email l > POP3 Logins > Manage’ section ofthe control panel (http://cp.xcalibre.co.uk)

Unless you have specific instructions to do so, you should not change anything here.

Click ‘Continue’.

Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): smtp.yourdomain.name (change to the domain you wish to use).

Check the ‘Use Authentication’ option.

Enter ‘User Name’ and ‘Password’ for the account as before.

Click ‘Continue’.

Once again, unless you have specific instructions to do so, you should not change anything here.

Click ‘Continue’.

Your account has now been created, click ‘Done’ to finish or click ‘Create Another Account’ to continue.
