Microsoft Outlook Express V6

Open up Outlook Express V6, then click on the ‘Tools’ menu at the top of the window, select ‘ Accounts ...’ from the drop-down.

Click 'Add' button and then select 'Mail ...' from the sub menu.

Once the new window appears, enter your name in the ‘Display name’ box (This will be used on all mail you send as the sender of the mail). Click next.

Select the option ‘I already have an email address that I’d like to use’ then enter the email address that you want to send email from. Once done, click next.

Enter the following information in the next sections:

My incoming mail server is a: POP3 server.

Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server: pop3.yourdomain.name (change to the domain you wish to use).

Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.yourdomain.name (change to the domain you wish to use).

Click ‘Next’.

In the next screen fill in the following:

Account name: This will be your pop3 username.

Password: This will be your pop3 password.

Click ‘Next’, ‘Finish’ and then ‘Close’.
