Mozilla Thunderbird 1.02

Open up Mozilla Thunderbird, then click on the ‘Tools’ menu at the top of the window, select ‘Accounts Settings ...’ from the drop-down menu.

 
 

Click ‘Add Account ...’ button.

   

Choose ‘Email account’ in the ‘New Account Setup’ window and click ‘Next’.

   
 

Entering the following information in the next sections:

Your Name: Your name (Used on all mail to identify you as the sender).

Email Address: This is the email address that you want to use.

Click ‘Next’.

 
 

Server type: Select POP

Incoming Server: pop3.yourdomain.name (change to the domain you wish to use).

It is up to you whether you select the ‘Use Global Inbox’ setting.

Outgoing Server: smtp.yourdomain.name (change to the domain you wish to use).

Click ‘Next’.

   

Account Name: This is just a reference for yourself.

Click ‘Next’.

   

Verify that all the setting you entered are correct and then click ‘Finish’.

 
 

To check for email, simply click ‘Get mail’ button. To start a new email, click ‘Write’.

The first time you check for email, you will be prompted for your password. This will be your pop3 password.
